AudioVisual Interactions in Binocular rivalry

This study investigates how our senses of sight and sound interact to shape our conscious perception of the world. If you choose to participate, you will look through a specialized viewer that presents a completely different image to each eye. Because the brain cannot easily merge these conflicting pictures, you will experience a natural visual illusion where your awareness continuously flips back and forth between the two distinct images. As you watch this visual tug-of-war unfold, you will listen to some sounds through headphones. Your task is simply to report what you see in real-time by pressing and holding one of two buttons to indicate exactly which image is currently dominating your vision.
